Meet siahj

Im an artist, proucer/multi-instrumentalist and overall a music lover. Im 23 years old. I have been around music my whole life, some of my earliest memories are of being in the studio and watching my dad either recording himself or one of the many people on his record label. My whole childhood I was around many different artist, my dad had his own record label and our studio was in my house. Writing, producing, recording, mixing and mastering was always being done right in my living room.

My dad taught me the basics of tracking vocals on Logic Pro x when I was very young so I could record him and help him with the process. I loved getting better at recording and being comfortable at doing that at such a young age. At that point I was very familiar with a lot of different genres of music and what made up what you hear on a song. Over the years I would start writing my own lyrics for songs and occasionally making songs at the age of 10.

Fast forward a few years and I start using my dads studio to start producing and making beats. I made beats whenever I could, I immediately fell in love with it, to me it was more expressive and fun than writing songs. From that point on I never stopped making beats. I even started rapping on my beats and went on to release 3 albums under a different name at the time.

That's until I picked up a guitar because I was really getting into indie and rock music and wanted to get away from the "low effort" "Meaningless" music. I immediately started practicing everyday and instead of making just "beats" I started making instrumentals with more feeling and I was getting a lot better at guitar. I started posting instrumentals on YouTube other yet another name and did that for 4 years while I continued to get better and build up my own studio. Around this time I deleted all of my stuff under both my old names and only focused on creating and becoming myself as an artist and producer. I didn't release anything for 2 years, only a few beats on YouTube.

Ive been making music for over 10 years now. I've just recently released my first EP under Siahj because it took so long for me to become the artist and Producer I am today. Not to mention I am very harsh on my own music and tend to be a perfectionist. Since the beginning of my journey Ive been learning to mix and master my own music, I am so happy I have the knowledge I do now. I am determined to share my music, my art and hopefully it will make someone feel something
